Decorative Wall Art design renders

In decorative wall art the expensive part is not the art, it is the sample: a mother-of-pearl panel costs a few thousand and a couple of weeks, and if the designer says no it is money gone. ICRE.AI turns craft, subject, composition, relief depth and canvas size into options and returns four different original art-panel renders per run — get sign-off first, cut shell second.

What we handle for this category

The render is the product

Unlike a bag, where a render still has to be imagined into an object, an art panel is what it looks like. What the designer approves is what goes on the wall — the path from pitch to sign-off is much shorter.

Manufacturability is a hard constraint

Shell is cut into flat slivers and laid piece by piece, so it cannot render a continuous gradient; bent veneer has a minimum radius; a bead array has to use a moldable primitive. Those limits are written into every prompt, not patched up by the workshop afterwards.

Size drives composition, not just proportion

A 60×90 piece hangs in an entry and is read from a meter away — 10–20mm tesserae, dense layering. A 120×180 piece is read from three meters and has to be bolder. Same ratio, different size, genuinely different artwork.

Original composition, no artist pastiche

The real legal risk here is pastiche of a living artist's signature style — the buyer is an interior designer and will recognize it. Every prompt forbids imitating specific works or signature styles; all composition is original abstract or gestural.

Real generated samples

All 4 images below were generated by ICRE.AI with no retouching — original proposals, ready to guide sampling and tooling.

What you can change

These attributes get combined into different design directions, and no two proposals in a run land on the same combination. You only tap options — the vocabulary is ours to worry about.

When it earns its keep

Pitching an interior designer

All you get is “living-room feature wall, tasteful, not busy”. Better to hand over four directions than to ask more questions.

Property developer sample rounds

Show flats need matched series that fit the delivery spec. Pick one design, then resize it into a full wall set.

Skipping a sample round

Shell, stone and etched-metal samples are not cheap, and a rejected one is worse. Lock the direction on renders and cut a physical sample only for the one that is approved.

FAQ

How many proposals per run, and will they look alike?
Four proposals per run, ready in minutes. They are not four rolls of the same dice: the system first draws mutually different combinations across axes like silhouette, material, graphic language and carry style, then has the model turn each combination into a coherent design spec. The four also target four market positions — safe mainstream, current trend, differentiated, and exploratory.
Can the workshop actually make what the render shows?
This is the thing we take most seriously in this category. Every prompt carries the craft limits: shell is a 1–3mm flat sliver laid piece by piece, so transitions are mosaic and seams are visible; veneer is formed by bending layers and cannot fold to a sharp corner; a bead array is glued one at a time from a moldable primitive. It is still a concept render, not a shop drawing — the final layout and dimensions come from your maker once a design is approved.
Can I specify the finished size? My client's wall is 2.4 m wide.
Yes. Beyond the dozen preset sizes you can type centimeters directly (e.g. 240×120). Size does not only set the ratio — it also drives graphic density and craft grain, so a large piece is composed to be read from a distance. The narrowest supported ratio is 1:3 (e.g. 60×180); anything narrower is beyond the image model and the interface says so on the spot.
Will it copy someone else's brand or character?
Every prompt carries the category's IP constraint: no copyrighted or trademarked characters and logos, no 1:1 copies of a specific competitor product, all graphics original. Decorative wall art is a category where licensed IP is everywhere, so "make the original equivalent instead" is written into the constraint. Still run your own clearance check for the market you sell into.
Can I get one design in several sizes?
Yes — pick a design and use Resize. Material, craft, palette and graphic language stay identical; only the canvas changes. It is not a stretch or a crop: the larger version is re-composed for the new proportion, because 60×90 density read at three meters just turns to mush.
My factory makes something else — can I still use it?
Yes. A category here is just configuration (category brief, attribute axes, shot spec); once it is set up, the same flow works. Email what you make to hi@icre.ai and we will configure it for you.
